When colleges (Such as the Ivy Leagues) say in their "requirement" guideline for undergraduates, "3 years of a foreign language" - Does that have to be taught from school (like what I learn in high school)? Or could I be tutored privately at home for 3 years on a certain language?
So, could I use the 3 years of Spanish I learned in high school to "get into a college", and use the Korean I learned at home for the SAT 2?
