I want to go to Cal State Long Beach, and I have a 3.2. Which by the end of senior year will probably be at almost a 3.4. Taking the sat in May. ANd got a 19 on my ACT. I kinda know long beach probably won't accept me. But I was thinking, my dad is a veteran, and i get to go anywhere in ca tuition free. does how you pay for your tuition play a part in it? would it help me get in more if they knew my tuition is going to be paid for by the government?
