Brigham Young is a good school and a financial bargain. Tuition is below $10,000 even for non-Mormons. But you'll have to live by their rules while you're there and pay for airfare to get there.
i live in maryland and i know of morgan state but if was wondering of some out of state colleges with tuition for 5-10,000 per year for out of state students
Truman State University (in Missouri) had $9,000 tuition for out-of-state students in 2006. A year later, I noticed it had gone up to $10,000, but it was still very cheap for out-of-state! I almost went there, but decided not to.
You could do a college search on collegeboard.com and click on the college of your choice and look in the "tuition and fees" area. It will tell you how much it costs.
They are very few and most are not worth going out of state to attend. One of which I have heard is Bemidji State University in Minnesota, but I do not know if it is still in that price range.
