I am 19 years old, I attend Stony Brook university I have had the same plan for 8 years old... go to SBU get degree in linguistics, Swim D1, do my masters in SLP (Speech-Language Pathology). I have always had a hobby in photography, but haven't taking a photo since June because of work and going away to school. I miss it like crazy! I have started the linguistics program and I decided that it is just not for me and I want to change majors to studio art and do my masters in photography. But no one will stand behind me. My parents Hate it and thing I'm just going to fail and all my friends (who go to school for pre-med, law, ect...) say that its stupid... I know photography is not a stable job but its what I love... I can see myself changing as a person and I'm so confused. My 1st plan was what I thought my purpose in life was, now I don't anything anymore. I know what my purpose in life is, I don't know who I am, What I am meant to do. The only thing I know is that I want to take a picture..
