...the poor for not being educated? Lets face it, a High School diploma is WORTHLESS; unless you want to make minimum wage as a corporate stooge for the rest of your life. Conservatives blame the poor for not educating themselves; how can they when they make 25K a year and school cost 30K? Scholarships you say? That works for black, hispanic, asian, gay, retarded, and people who score 2000 on the SAT, but what about the average student? What about some one who works full time at a minimum wage time? Isnt it time conservatives stop calling all poor people lazy and ignorant, and start actually helping these people get educated by providing funding?
the only people who get grants are minorities, and geniuses. the average joe, doesnt get jack.
 
The answer to this isn't more college. Many positions 'requiring' a college degree don't really need one. What's wrong with trade schools and community college? Going to 4 yrs of college and (possibly) acquiring a lot of debt for your education isn't always the best move.
