I have a couple questions about financial aid for college! Please help me out!
1.) I am eligible for up to $2,500 for the 2009-2010 school year from fafsfa. Does that mean I get $2,500 for the whole year, or $2,500 for each semester? So a total of $5,000 for the 2009-2010 school year?
2.) As far as taking out student loans goes, if I need to purchase a laptop for school and I am living off campus because the school doesn't offer housing, when do I get those loans? Do I have to wait until I start taking classes to receive that money? I'm a little confused with how that works, so if someone could explain all of that, it would be appreciated! The main reason I'm wondering this is because I need to pay for my first months rent before school starts, as well as purchase my laptop..
