I have recently had an outbreak of colRABores/fever blisters/oral herpes or whatever it is on my face. Initially I scratched it a lot and it bled, then it scabbed over. There is one bitch of a blister under my lip and several others on the lower part of my face.
I went to the doctor who gave me Aciclovir Cream and Flucloxacillin Capsules. The cream on the big one has sort of... crusted together with the scab. The blister is pretty big (penny-sized) and is very noticeable on my face. I am rather stupid and have picked it again, but it came of very easily (probably dead skin) and did not result in bleeding.
There is still some scabbing in the centre, but there is still a big patch of pink skin under and around it. Is this going to scar? Is there any way I can stop it from scarring?
