Coheed and Cambria

they're one of the most amazing banRAB i've ever come across, second stage turbine is my fav, but time consumer you need to listen to fo sho, thats one of my all time favs
and when you've listened to those too much, look up shabutie. it's what coheed was called before coheed. it's alot harder and more trippy tho, and not sure if you can find an actual cd, but you can download them. any other advice i've been a hardcore coheed freak for a few years now.

SSTB is an outcast album because it's not like C&C. But it's still dark. And some of the songs are really chill.

IKSSE3 is still not on my radar. I'll let you know after I actually listen to it. Hahaha.

It's often the case, no matter the artist, that we have a preference for the material we hear first.

i love the Amory Wars. Actually, im still completely confused about most of it.

For those who don't know, the Amory Wars is a comic that claudio wrote, and it takes place over the course of the four (soon to be five =D) albums. its very confusing, and i dont think i can begin to explain it.
i like listening to the albums in order (especially on long car trips or plane rides) and going hey! this makes sense now!

My favorites are Gravemakers & Gunslingers, The Lying Lies & Dirty Secrets of Miss Erica Court, The Crowing, and Delirium Trigger

Heavy at first? It starts off all acousticy, I dare say that I heard the sound of a baby cooing in either the first or second song, then for one song it was heavy (welcome home) then it got poppy for 11 songs with very little prog, and all those 11 songs sounded alike.

Every rock genre has its pop influences, even prog, Yes were greatly influenced by The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Simon & Garfunkel, The ByrRAB, Mamas And The Papas, Burt Bacherach, Frank Sinatra as well as Tin Pan Alley and Ragtime music, which were among the most popular genres around before Rock N Roll came along.

Punk too, i remeraber some punk banRAB listed The Monkees and The Archies among their influences. :D
