coffee bean sized bump above upper left biscupid

about 2 months ago, i had a severe toothache in my upper left biscuspid and an infection about a quarter of an inch higher than the current bump. I took antibotics then and the infection (along with the swelling) went away. Ever since then, if i touched the place the infection used to be, it was slightly painful and almost felt like there was an empty cavity there. It seemed fine other wise. There wasn't anymore toothache and the infection was gone.

Here i am 2 months later and i just realized today that i have a bump above that same tooth (except slightly lower, like stated above). I got kinda frantic and took a sterilized needle and poked a hole in it and squeezed. A very small amount of blood came out. Then i poked another hole and had the same result. Finally i poked a hole right in the center and pushed a little harder after poking through. It almost felt like it breached a second wall. This time when i squeezed it, a small amount of thin white liquid came out. I continued to try to squeeze it and nothing else came out except a little more blood. It is still on my gums and it is slightly painful to the touch. I just really need to know if this is something potentially hazardous to my health because i won't be able to afford a dentist/oral surgeon bill anytime soon.

i forgot to mention, my upper left canine tooth is broke in half (airbag accident) and has been that way since February. The end of the nerve is exposed constantly. But I can push HARD on the gum above that tooth and no pain at all. Here is a picture of the bump.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you need to see a oral surgeon. It sounds like your toothache was due to an abscess. The antibodic have taken care of the infection, however, you most likely need a root canal, especially since you have a exposed root. If you can prove that your tooth was damaged in a car accident, than your car insurance or whomever was driving the car's insurance should cover the expense of having the repairs done.

I do not advocate poking holes with a needle into the bump, you are only inviting further infection that could be very serious.

I hope I have answered your question
