Rushed as it is, Counterattack is much better than Nightmare of Nunnally based on what I've seen. It's different, but it's not nearly as far-fetched as what NoN tries to pull. Its explanation for Geass is actually plausible, and it actually feels like a Code Geass story without robots.

Ooh, I spy my boy! And according to the ever-reliable Wiki, Suzaku does indeed exist in this universe and his background is the same as canon (befriending Lelouch and Nunnally as children), but he becomes Euphie's knight via Schneizel before we're ever introduced to him. Go figure.

You could actually do all that in four panels too.
Oh, I seem to have recalled something...Kallen has a light novel, written by the same guy who wrote the others, that goes over the show's first eight episodes or so from her point of view. See here. I suppose it's nothing groundbreaking for the most part though.
What's probably more surprising is that there was a Knights of the RounRAB light novel too, but I'm not sure how much of it fits in with the facts as they were presented in the show. Or for that matter, what's it really about in general, besides the obvious. See the Link.
The idea seems to be that these were actually running in The Sneaker magazine while each respective season was airing, roughly speaking, from what I can tell. I'm currently assuming that Bandai will probably only bring over the main novels that adapt the show.
As redundant as it sounRAB like I'd probably be more interested in Kallen's, even though the KoRs would benefit the most in comparison.

Oh, I wish those light novels would be translated. Especally the Knights of the Round one since that could provided a bit of extra development that was lacking in the show.

Who cares about Kallen? The important question is whether Shirley is in it.
I've read more of Nightmare of Nunnally.

It is very crazy though. I like it though, things end very differently. Its only 5 volumes but its a very interesting spin on events from the anime.
If anyone want a more detailed review on how this manga ended differently I can write a review.

Let me reask this question. What do you think for this idea, a manga story that takes place when Lelouch and Suzaku first meet, and a story of the adventures they went though as children.
And to add more to do it, they could even expand the universe to see what the rest of the royal family, as well as there future classmates at Ashford, future merabers of the Black Knights, the Lancelot crew, the royal soulders, etc. are up to at that time. I always wanted to see the reaction from Schnizel, Clovis, Cornella, and Euphie to Lelouch and Nunnally vanishment.
I don't know logistly how they could pull this off, but how about in one chapter if somehow young Suzaku meets a young Euphie. I guess the story could be Euphie runs away looking for Lelouch and Nunnally, while Suzaku runs away for another reason and they bump into each other and go on an adventure. He would probably be real mean to her and tell her off because of who she is. That would be cool to see, knowing what their future holRAB.

Because Geass is selling whereas 00 hasn't had the chance to start yet because BEI has, so far as I know, not released many books on time without delays besides the surprisingly successful Lucky Star manga.
Yeah...I know. Though to be fair, they seem to have gotten things straight on some fronts. Nightmare of Nunnally got several volumes released while I wasn't looking, people can actually find Gurren Lagann books now, etc.
No idea about the specifics of these, but I'm not interested since I'm doubtful that they will reveal very much.

Those are actually pretty old, though I wasn't expecting to see them released in the U.S. so I wonder if that's a risky move on Bandai's part.
The covers might seem very suggestive, which should be useful for marketing purposes, but they're essentially compilations of non-pornographic doujinshi by several different artists. There might be some sexual humor but that's pretty much it. In short, officially sanctioned fanworks of no consequence and not something I'd want to buy.

Well, Gundam Wing: Ground Zero at least had something of a plot, even if a weak one. This has no such intentions behind it.
Like it or not though, even I can't possibly deny there's an audience for this sort of stuff....and one that will likely be disappointed when they expect to see some hardcore hentai or what have you inside, based on the covers, only to find out it's not really like that.
Either way, it's not worth my money.
