cod 5 weird thing happend...?

So i was playing cod 5 and i have someone on my friend list who was playing to,and i was searching a game and i landed on the same game he was in,and he didnt even invite me...
Is that normal or just a coincidence?
 
no it is normal if he has prefered you as a player because you are more likely to play with him, also even bigger chance if both of you have preferred each other.
