Im in the process of shopping for a cockatiel.
-At what age should the cockatiel be when I purchase it?what is too young and what is too old?
-what are the benefits/disadvantages of choosing a male or female?
-when should I start socializing with it?
-How will I know if the bird is healthy?
-Is hostility from a baby cockatiel normal behavior or is it a sign of poor treatment by the previous owner?
it would be great if anyone can answer some or all of these questions because I really want to establish a great relationship with my bird when I get it.
