Cocaine users should feel guilty

I'm not taking a position on whether cocaine is good or bad for you. My point is that the demand for this drug by Americans is causing the chain reaction leading to out of control violence in Mexico that is now spreading across the border and threatens to get much worse for us here

Yep.

Anyone who wears clothing that says "Made in India" should feel guilty as the average life expectancy of a laborer in an Indian dye house is less than 30 years.

i'll tell you once you answer my question 'what gives you the right to decide what another individual does with their body?'

Here's the problem with most anti-drug arguments.

Thinking that someone should be allowed to use drugs does not equate to approval of taking those drugs or thinking that someone should become an addict.

I do not use cocaine, I would never encourage you to use cocaine, but I don't think anybody ever belongs in prison for using cocaine.

Again, cocaine is no worse than alcohol. Being a regular cocaine user is no worse than being an alcoholic. The only problem is that cocaine is far more expensive so it's going to get you broke quicker than a drinking problem, but that's not the drugs fault since it is an inanimate object and is unable to set its own price

it's no ones business what an individual chooses to do with their body. what gives you the right to decide what substances they choose to take?

Mexican drug war which only exists because of militant prohibitionists that think they have the right to use violence and draconian laws to prevent people from using a drugs not made by Anheuser-Busch, Lorillard Tobacco, or Pfizer
