Cobra Upper Cut Slip Ons

Anyone have these? I have a chance to buy some used pretty cheap but want to get some experiences on how they sound. I still have stock and need to get more sound but money is really tight right now.

Here are some pictures....

He says they are in really good shape with no visable scratches and they are about 4 years old and have about 45K miles on them. This might be good since I like loud and deep.

I have a set of Cobra slip-ons. they have a deeper sound than stock and slightly louder at a idle. They have a nice deep sound when you get on it.
I think they sound better than the newer style Screaming Eagles slip-ons.
 
Well, there's a couple. I guess I will take a look at these, was going to go with Klock Werks Super Saver Shorts and TD headers later on. For $100 if they are in good shape I think I will get them and it will be a quick way to get some sound out of the bike while I am on a tight budget. Just a little worried that they are 4 years old and 45K miles on them.
 
No experience with the Cobra's, they look a lot like Rush or Jackpots. If so you could always "play" with the baffle to open them up a bit more if they are not the sound you want.

For $100.00 if chrome and good (pics look good), if I was on a budget then I'd try them. If nothing else use them for a year to wake up the bike until you save for the total set-up you really want. I have done that a few times in the past when cash strapped.
 
Bought them for $90 last night. Chrome is pretty good but some good scuffs and scratches but they do have 45K miles on them. Once installed cannot really notice any of them. They sound nice, verry deep and good bark and once in a higher gear cruising they sound like stock, can bearly hear them. You can diffently hear that most of the sound comes from the right pipe now. If they both sounded like the right one I think I would be happy. So it sounds like true dual headers are in order. Does anyone know if I will be ok adding the slip ons and true dual head pipes without messing with the a fuel manager? If I can get by without one I will add it later if I think it is still needed with a high flow intake. I was suprised that it seems the bike is a little smoother and responsive with just adding the slip-ons.
