Anyone else seeing these issues? It's happening on both my 9200 and 9242. Signal strength on transponder 24 is in the 90s.

I made this comment in a different thread yesterday;

I did report it directly to Bell this morning.

I being having issues with transponder 24 for quiet a while now. I phoned bev several times with no help. I have a 6131 and a 3100. What did bell tell you that helped solved your problem. Maybe it will help me fix my issue too. Thanks in advance.

I get pixelization on tp 24 with the 6131. It happens on slice and tsn. On the 3100 its worst. You get the attention message 1 out of 5. You can't even watch it. I had a bell installer on Saturday and he was here for 2.5 hours. Couldn't figure the problem out. I talked to a rep online and he suggest to relocate the dish. Also I am now starting to have issues with tp 25 now. So its getting worse instead of better. Thats why I joined this forum to get some advice to see if I can narrow down this problem. I had the 3100 for 8 years and they suggested it might be the receiver but if I am getting pixelization on the same channels with the 6131 means its a tp issue with both receivers right. Hope this information helps you. Thanks in advance.

It does not mean it has to be a Transponder Issue, it is most likely an issue with your hardware.

I have had CNNi & TSN on, side by side on PiP on my 9200, neither Channel has had a problem, so as far as I see, there is no problems with the signals comming from the sats.

What are you signal strengths on 24 & 25.

On the 3100 its tp 24 94% and tp 25 100%. On the 6131 its tp 24 84% and tp 25 85%.

Then it is some other issue as those are pretty good. I still have no problems with either channel, they are both fine.

Is there a common point that the cables from both recievers go to.? Apart from the Dish....lol Maybe an SW44.?

They are both on seperate sw21 switches. Both 91 and 82 are dual lnb's. Bell got me to unplug the receiver on channel 520 and unscrew the cable for two minutes for the 3100. It fiixed the issue for the 3100 for tp 25. I just tried it for tp 24 with no luck so any suggestions would be helpful. I used slice or channel 601 for tp 24.

I am across the street from the Woobine racetrack so there is no trees around. Also on the 3100 tp 24 doesn't stay locked if that is any help too.

Thanks for all your help Pinza. A bell installer came on Sunday and had to move the dish. He told me the railing was blocking the signal and thats why I couldn't get all the transponders properly. Also he changed lnb's and found the 91 lnb was not working properly. Its installed now and now I get the channels.

Thanks for the update. Those railings sure do grow fast with the colder weather eh.?.....lol
