CNN E61 Keypad Problem

So I decided to order a new keypad for my E61 off cnn because my other one is a little scuffed. I thought I was gonna get this in the mail (Euro 1 keypad):



But instead they sent me the E62 keypad



My question: is there any firmware that will match the E62 keypad at all? Or will I have to send it back? Knowing CNN, I probably wont get a reply for another 3 weeks Thanks for your guy's input in advance.
 
mmm that sucks...

i though they were the same at first, but then i realized that most of the second function keys are different.
 
i think u should talk to cnn and tell them to ship u an euro keypad. You should have asked them before hand..even thou alot has been going on with cnn lately i dont believe that is their fault.
 
Of course it was their fault man!

An E61 is an entirely different phone than an E62, despite their similarities. Maybe I should have specified what I wanted, but if they advertise with a picture of a EURO keypad, I expect to get that particular keypad.

I'll try emailing them nonetheless.
 
hmm..whats the difference between e61/62 keypads? please enlighten me...

or call dennis. Usually the best method althou its long-d~
 
Physically there's no difference, but im trying to match up the keypads to a certain product code. Is there any country's product code that will match the E62 keypad? I know I wont be able to use the "own key", but as long as everything elses matches up, it'll be fine for me.
 
The E62 has a "Own" key, which.. isn't gamer's talk for winning, but just that it's like a customizable shortcut thingy which I cant get to work on mine anyways


I'd suggest flashing your firmware to the chinese one. It's the closest match to what you got there AFAIK.
