Clutch when shifting?

No, I always let up on the throttle just a little bit when clutchless shifting. That allows an easy shift. Don't force the shift lever.

Funny, for the longest time I do the exact same thing and never really noticed until you explained it P@. Not sure if its good or bad, but I've never had a problem

I just leave mine in 3rd all the time.

It's a little sluggish at the lights but once it gets going it's fine, so I pretty much avoid have to shift gears altogether.

Actually, clutchless shifting, done right, puts less wear on everything.

I tend to only clutchless shift upshifting on spirited rides. This is required because letting off the throttle (about 25%) unloads the gears and you get a perfect sync.
