Clutch Slipping

I have a 98 DR350W, dirtbike that I made street legal. I am having a problem where my clutch slips. I can be in 6th ear and give it full throttle and it will rev out and catch after a little bit.

Does this necessarily mean I need a new clutch or is there something that I can do to fix it. Any help will be appreciated. THanks in advance.

I'm not a mechanic, Hawlyns711, but did have a problem with slippage on my bike. Easy solution for me, clutch linkage adjusted too tightly, never fully released. Check that there is "some" play in the clutch lever. It may rattle just a bit, but does need the smallest amount of slack. Good luck with yours.
