I would block the wheels, then have someone push the clutch pedal while you look at the clutch slave cylinder. Check if the rod from the slave cylinder that actuates the clutch arm is still there and working. Maybe you are just low on clutch fluid, or have air bubbles in the fluid (due usually to having let the fluid level get too low).
