Clothing for outdoor hiking and camping?

My friends lookin to do a couple multiday hiking trips and i know he really wants some good outdoor pants and shirts. i know on man vs. wild bear wears some clothing with mesh in the knees and stuff like that so thats what i'm looking for but if there are similar brands that would work too. thanks.

it would be cool though to have the same sorta stuff bear wears
