Clone my nextel sim?

is it possible to clone a sim for use in one phone at a time? my feeling suggest that independent sim id's prevents this, but i have two phones: one gets service in my house, the other basically doesn't. i would like to use one phone in the house and the other everywhere else, only one phone would be in use at a time, the other turned off. i'm just tired of switching the sim card from phone to phone.

any ideas?
 
When I change phones, I download the phonebook and media files with the Motorola support tools on my Iden Links sticky. Then I make note of my profile settings and voice recordings (They will be lost upon SIM removal)
