Climate Change Sceptics could be among the first to demand relief when they need it. Maybe we should register them so we can fairly prioritise the help given to environmental refugees, when the time comes.
Zahavah - you must have read about that so called ice age scare on YA. The only thing that happened in the 1970's was an energy crisis about oil. You should check the facts and not believe fairy tales or cyclical theories.
Jenny I would but I word them too well and the sceptics are baffled. Try telling the Maldives or Kiribati people that their homes being washed away is caused by sun spots or a natural earth cycle....ha ha...they just dont answer the question.

The only reason you seem to think global warming is real is because the media constantly bombards you with information stating that it is real. Also they mention an "overwhelming consensus". Why don't we go door to door and name all these researchers who PERSONALLY verified the experiments. Let's see how many scientists do science and how many just listen to "what other scientists say". I bet you'll be shocked to find out that the media invents our reality for us.

Don't you see what happens EVERY SINGLE TIME? For example, when someone protests the "War on Terror" on TV, the broadcasters change topics, ignores them, or tries to make them look ridiculous. They aren't doing this for NO REASON. THEY CHANGE OUR OPINIONS SO WE VOLUNTARILY ACCEPT WHATEVER THEY WANT US TO ACCEPT BY PSYCHOLOGICAL MEANS.

They just think it's a freaking exageration

Just like in the 1970's when the environmentalists had the '' global ice age scare '' ... in the 70's there was news everywhere and major hysteria that in 1990 humanity would die of an ice age

Then we had the overpopulation loons that thought that humanity would have 100 billion people in 2000 ... and guess what ? It's only 7 billion people or so now

It's not so much they don't believe in it
It's that overpopulation is happening slowly

It's bogus that environmentalists made a whole 360 shift from global ice age paranoia to global warming paranoia ( and then denying it outright or saying '' Well technology was weak in those days '' ) when man is NOT the ONLY one that is causing this ... the earth is causing this as well ... the earth goes in CYCLES ... heating , cooling , heating , cooling and so on
 
actually YOU may have nailed it ... and THAT is why they are so fixated on the cost of trying to fight the rate of climate change because it will eat into the money that they have that will enable them to buy water when it is scarce and a vast amount of people die of thirst and starvation...

It's all about those people in FIRST CLASS again....

Just on the story of Chicken Little... YOU are aware that that story was made up BEFORE we filled our orbit with space-junk .. much of which does fall back to earth.....
