Climate change, previously global warming until things got colder.
Fact, oil is running out, we need a replacement. Telling everyone it is running out didn't work, so climate change was invented to get an almost religious one answer fits all reason to make people change. Think about it is used as a reason for so many things!
How long will it last?

Is it so hard to believe that the atmosphere is fragile, and our destructive actions threaten the survival of organisms all across the food chain, which threatens the balance of life as we know it?
Humanity and technology are raping the Earth at a geometric rate. If you expect things to be nice and cozy forever then you're in for an inconvenient surprise.
Climate change is not a conspiracy. If it seems like it is, that is the fault of the people trying to explain it, and the annoyance of "eco-culture."

Yes, there is a conspiracy!

In the eyes of the objective scientist the answer is no.
In the eyes of the politically inspired maybe yes.

2008 was the 9th warmest year in the instrumental temperature record. Is that fact or fiction? Within the margin for error it may have been the 7th to 10th warmest. So, how cold has it gotten again?

Climate change is definitely a conspiracy but it has nothing to do with the oil supply. The so-called "scientists" who support global warming do so for the money. (My history teacher once said, "If you don't know the answer, it's money.") The oil supply, even if it is diminishing, does not need regulation because the laws of supply and demand will naturally increase gas prices when the supply runs low and that is when the gas companies will release the electric cars that they already built years ago as this would economically be the best time for them to release them.
