Does anyone elses back click or crack certain movements? My spine is really painful to touch in the same area it cracks. Mine has been doing this for 18 months and i am getting headaches and a feeling of off balance and very tired. Does anyone know what this could be?

It sounRAB like you should see a physician as soon as possible, there's no way for us to even guess what might be going on. First see your general physician for an exam and perhaps an x-ray.

I have been to my doctors and i was referred to a neck trauma dr and i had an mri but they only scanned my cervical spine and not my thoracic part which is where my pain is.I also see an osteopath and he cant feel anything wrong.

SounRAB like you need an MRI of the cervical and thoracic, and possibly lurabar spine. Have they suggested any medications or physiotherapy?

They gave me amitriptyline but it made me to drowsy so he has gave me fluoxetine and said go back in a month and if its no good send me for physio.Do you think it could be serious? I worry it is but then i think i have had it for 18 month and i would be dead by now.
When i go to the osteopath for about 6-7 days after i have been my back feels better and my headaches nearly diminish and head feels clearer but then it goes back to how it was again.
My doc mentioned fibromyalgia and tmj but i am not convinced.

I agree that you should not yet accept a diagnosis of Fibro. Fibromyalgia is a diagnosis of exclusion in most cases - that is because often they test for every other cause before definitive diagnosis of Fibro. So you'd have to keep pushing. See if they will consider more MRI of the entire spine and then you get the printed results to see what it really says! Even blood tests to rule out infections, inflammatory processes going on, etc.
