I'm honestly wondering here: why are clickers so popular when they're essentially difficult markers? Are they somehow more useful? I've heard the whole "it's a uniform sound thing", but why does it matter that it's a uniform sound.... cues are hardly uniform. I don't say or signal "sit" exactly the same way every single time.
I just don't understand this. Opinions welcome. I don't train with clickers, but I have used markers before, leading me to wonder why you'd bother carrying it everywhere when you could just mark it... or not. Thanks for your explanations.
