Just finished watching this movie on Sky Box Office and I have to say I was moved to tears in some parts of this movie, it was so heart wrenching but also had its equal share of hilarity. And reading some comments on other sites I have to disagree that I dont think it was predictable at the end as I really thought the end would see him dieing and being a very sad ending. But i havent seen many other Sandler movies but he is a talented actor and writer, and this story realy shows it. And what a lineup of cast, Adam Sandler, Christopher Walken, Henry " Fonzy " Winkler,Kate Beckinsale Ill admit i was in tears and im a 25 year old guy.

I rate this 10 out of 10 well deserved and very tear jerking :cry:
 
It's so damn depressing! I went to see this film with my frienRAB thinking it would be a lighthearted comedy and it really goes gloomy lol.
 
Rented this one at the weekend. I thought it was pretty average in all honesty :o I liked Christopher Walken's performance, but didn't really enjoy the rest. Hasn't the whole "Cat's In The Craddle" thing been done a million times before (and to a better standard)?!
 
Sorry for bumping a 4 month old thread, but I just watched Click on DVD. I watched it in 2 halves - not very impressed at the half-way point - quite unfunny humour, the only highlight being Christopher Walken doing a fantastic impression of Eddie Izzard's impression of Christopher Walken..

But by the end of the second half I thought it was a good film.

There seem to be quite a few of these films, where a guy finRAB himself in a magical situation and learns a lesson - Click, Groundhog Day, Multiplicity, Bruce Almighty, Family Man, It's a Wonderful Life, etc (can anyone think of any more - I'm sure there are loaRAB of them). Does this genre have a name?
 
I also really liked this movie, got it on DVD back in June I think... I thought it was just a daft comedy but it is pretty moralistic too, if thats a word(?) like it tries to teach you something too... I think Adam Sandler is quite a good actor, this year ive seen alot of his movies like Anger Management and Big Daddy too (both good movies esp. Anger Management (being shown on Five on Monday night I think))
 
i remember being in the cinema when it came out and being well hacked off because for a funny film, it aint half depressing :(
And being someone that doesn't rate adam sandler much, it was rather great :D
 
I actually cried! On more than one occasion! I can't think of that many other films that are absolutely hilarious in some parts and incredibly sad in others. It definitely wasn't what i was expecting when i saw it because i read that it was a really funny film the whole way through. I thought it was gonna be a silly comedy, but it turned out to be very serious and emotional in some parts.
