This is the Car Talk animated show that's airing on PBS in July. For those who don't know, Car Talk is an NPR show that has two brothers giving car advice while injecting humor in it. Good news for Animaniacs and Tiny Toon Adventure fans is that Tom Minton is supervising the scripts for this show. This is PBS' first animated series in primetime.

So, it's primetime instead of the PBS Kids block for this cartoon, eh? Well, this should sound good, as this might lead to the return of cartoons geared towards families/general audiences on American TV:anime: .

Well, the radio show is aimed towards people who understand the technical functions of cars. I'd say the target demo is anyone 20+ with an emphasis on 35 - 49 year olds.

Very good point there, but I suspect the show's content will be family-friendly as it seems to just focus on the technical function of cars.
