Clever way to ask a guy to a dance?

The winter dance at my school this year is a girls ask guy dance. I have a guy friend who will hopefully soon become more, and I am looking for a clever way to ask him to the dance. The dance is a Jazz themed dance if possible I'd like to reflect that in the way I ask him. He's okay with anything romantic and embarrassing, so any idea is welcome. Thanks
