Clearing Search Widget Cache

My friend got a hold of my Nexus one and thought it would be funny to search up "gay porn" on the search widget. I tried clearing out the cache with cachemate but that didn't help.

My nexus is rooted. Does anyone know how to clear the search cache?

hmm I don't have a "menu" option
it just goes from applications >unknown sources - manage applications - running services - development
 
wait.. never mind. I think I got it. I went to settings >search >clear search shortcuts.

Thanks for the help constellanation . Is there a rewards system on the forums where I can give you a plus one or something?
 
thanks therealxblade, i was in a similar situation.

i tried constellanation's suggestion 1st. but my google search cache said it was empty. (grrrr) the 'clear search shortcuts' worked for me. crisis averted!
