Clear Emule Search History

i found out how to do it, incase anyone's interested
go to your emule directory, then the "config" folder, open the "AC_SearchStrings.dat" file with notepad and delete all the searches

then save the file, close and restart emule

problem solved

Thanks, 3rd gen. I often wondered about that myself. Your solution was so simple I don't know why I never thought of it. They should include the delete option in the program, like K-Lite does. Not only to hide embarrassing searches, but also because the list gets so long after a while every time you type in a letter it tries to finish the word for you, which can be a pain.

As far as I know, all you have to do is hold down Ctrl and press delete when the cursor is in the search field... at least, it works for me!

Yeah, okay, so there were a few searches that I wanted to keep to myself...
