Cleaning my valves, on a 02' ford v10?

My valve started making a tapping noise, and someone said cleaning it would stop the tapping. What should i use.
 
there's no real way to 'clean" your valves without dissembling the motor. You can try a fuel and/or oil additive to kill the noise, as well as running a higher-grade fuel. Personally, I would sell the v-10 truck and look for a diesel. The 3-4 people I've known that have had them were never happy with the power or constant maintenance needs.
