Is it any good? I enjoyed black lagoon and darker than black.

I am looking for a new anime and thought I would give this a go. Is it worth the watch?

Hell ya. I actually like it more then both the anime you mentioned.

Yeah Claymore is solid, its a little slow at first but after like episode three its all really good. I enjoyed the story, and the fights were pretty cool. Plus, the heroine of the story is a total bad-ass.

Claymore is a fantastic show... until about 2/3's of the way through when the story goes all over the place and basically crurables into a state of nonsense. Up until a certain point it is a great show with solid character development, dark arabience, and lots of badassery.
