Claymore

;1892818']Just saw episode twenty.

Another good episode. I got see Undine real form and it would have been badass if Flora and Clare dueled. I have bad feeling that Mira hopes and aspirations of everyone being alive will be futile.

I wasn't expecting for Raki to find Priscilla and Isley. And for now, it seems like they're going to keep him alive because priscilla has taken an interest in him. I loved this episode

I just finished reading the manga (well all there is to read right now).

It's very promising. Some things are a little common (expected in anime), but it's very promising.

Yeah, I agree. Raki has shown his usefulness when Clare was present. He's a dork, though.

I wonder how many others will end up dying. He didn't completely destroy Jeane, so I'm sure she'll end up popping back up. A few of the Claymore's got it pretty bad, s'pecially Undine. And I'm with Ornette, what is the back story regarding that Lion-King? I don't think he's an Awakened Nuraber One, so possible a former two or three? Odd that he had Silver Eyes..

The violence is pretty raw and bloody. Lirabs go flying pretty much in every scene. I would compare this in look and feel much to how Tokko was.

At first I thought this anime was sort of lame. It seemed really cliche in all places.
BUT, I'm really really enjoying it now. The series got awesome at around episode 10 and onwarRAB.

Just caught up with the series and I was quite pissed by how Teresa died, well actually more like shocked. I also couldn't believe that Clare was 47 but I'm sure there is a reason she is at the bottom or that she will quickly find a way to become stronger.

*shrug* So far, the anime hasn't been too much of a difference to the manga, and I was actually pretty surprised to find out who the yoma actually was.

You know i had that flash of a thought too when it was mentioned that for some reason it only worked on females, but then i disregarded it because that would almost make the boy the main character not the Claymore - whereas i think his role is mainly going to be the force appealing towarRAB Clare's more human side as the storyline progresses. I'm sure at some point she'll be wrestling more with that and the boy will be a tipping point i'm guessing. Maybe it'll be something like Resident Evil, where she surpasses the barrier and becomes a new type of Claymore. Guess we'll see, but the underlying themes of this anime are well taken. What makes us human, and how do we fight or come to terms with human nature...

Episode 17 was a good conclusion to the "Witches Maw" arc. There was no way she could have taken Clare and Jeane down anyways with her injuries. Looks like a big ole' brawl in the North is in the works, but it seems the Claymores have the disadvantage if these "deep dwellers" are all that powerful as it seems. I like the fact that Clare now has a partner in all this. Easley looked BAD ASS. Was that awakened being girl, making a sexual reference when she said to duff that "You're the only one that can accept me without breaking..."? DAMNNN, they're like Klingons mating. Or don't some species of spiders and praying mantis eat their lover after mating?

its archived, though i still have access to it (if u have any posts in there, u can access it by going through your post history)

but no to that, it was a limited edition forum, even though personally i feel it was a highly used part of these forums (atleast compared to some other anime still on the main list of titles)

No way Rafaela would let her go.
Irene wouldn't have been able to defend herself.
Rafaela is apparently strong enough for Irene to question her about her nuraber.
I'd like to know more about Rafaela.
Especially about her eye and why she's nuraber 5
