Claymore

For some reason, I found Clare's enduring efforts in episode 14 to be mildly cute, especially during her final encounter with the awakened Ophelia.

yeah Ive been thinking about a club as well, I dont wanna do it cuz I think someone who is cought up on the manga as well as the anime should be leader

Yeah i dunno, having her take the pill to infilterate a city was kinda weak...not to mention suicide. I guess this Yoma is one of the toughest ones, although shouldn't she have her power back by now? Good episode though!

I actually didn't dislike the ending until I saw it a second time. The fact that Raki didn't die was a real downer as well.

The first time I saw it I was all riled up. I thought the show was awesome. The first 17 or so episodes are awesome. I just dislike the constant powering up. Especially if, in the end, that's all there's to it. It's like watching an animated gif of Goku going SSJ4 for half an hour. Of course the manga goes further. People said the anime was identical to the manga until the last few episodes, but that's not true. A couple of very interesting parts were cut out. Parts that explained much more about the Claymores and their organization. I'm betting they cut them out because they are directly linked to the rest of the manga and it's story. Which leaRAB me to believe more firmly that there never will be a sequel to the anime. Plus the ending of that story arc is very very different in the manga.
I would read the manga if only the people didn't look like puppets. The art is not on par with the anime somehow.

Someone convince me or give me a reason why i should keep watching this. i watched up to episode 2 and couldnt go farther it just didnt catch. but i keep seeing so many people hooked and i wonder what im missing. is it just a bit slow in the begining and then gets better????? help me

The first episode was good and had me pretty hooked. I haven't read the manga (maybe I will sometime), but this episode certainly impressed. It does remind me of a female version of Berserk because of the setting and the main character. The animation was really nice and I liked the art-style. Nothing really struck me out as bad while watching this.

I dont think the Claymore now are suppose to be as strong as in Teresa's time.
If she went to her max safety level i couldnt see anyone beating her no matter how many there were.
She was just simply amazing.

Yeah, you should probably watch more then decide. At first, it's slow - but then we get to know more about the story and characters. Then later on, there's alot more violence and action. Interesting characters are to be introduced too =)

Even with her help, I doubt that would make much difference in the end seeing as Isley has Priscilla by his side all the time. Consider her the trump card. Her awakened being state is absolutely insane and those two corabined would really be something of an unstoppable force.

Well, it's sort of obvious that Teresa will have to die mainly because she isn't in the present time with Clare. And after what she did this episode I can't see how she would make it out alive. That sort of sucks, because she is my favourite character so far (more then Clare). Anyways, I am now addicted to Claymore and just started reading the manga.
