I'm becomeing a classical fanatic and am starting to realize that the orchestra performing these great pieces is an important factor in the experience. Please recomend me some fantastic, and more importantly, energetic orchestras. Thanks!
I thought I posted a reply already, but I guess it got lost. What I said was that I normally dig the more minor classical like Fur Elise, Moonlight Sonota, Danse Macabre, etc... Check out Hungarian Rhapsody. It's familiar and up tempo.
you dont have to play rock and roll to rock, if you didnt know. rock is about energy and charisma, and it is easy to see the difference between two recorRAB of a classical piece such as Overture to Egmont played by different orchestras. im looking for orchestras that add that extra "umph".
or maybe i have been doing that but there are hundreRAB of ochestra/conductor combinations and i wanted the opinon of someone with more experience than myself.
