Classic Nicktoons

^ Seriously. KiRAB these days have missed out on so many awesome shows. All they get now is crap.

There's not really anything like after-school and Saturday cartoons these days either (which is when ours aired). They're really missing out.

I think those shows are way out of Nickelodeon's league. Maybe Adult Swim.

My cousin (who is a high school math teacher), brother, and I were lamenting on how this generation doesn't know about the old shows like Doug, Aah! Real Monsters, Ren and Stimpy, etc. I don't really blame his students if they never heard of it but man...are they missing out.

 I don't find anything offensive about that episode. I'd be more offended by the shows that aren't on Nick (Ex: family guy, simpsons, etc)

Rugrats episode is offensive? How can that be? They must have over judge the episode..sshh poor Rugrats. Same thing happened when Elmo from Sesame Street sang with Katy Perry.

I recently saw that episode on On Demand and didn't see anything offensive or wrong about it. I thought it was cute just like all the other episodes of the show :look:

It's been a long time since I've seen that show. It had its bizarre moments though. Although, I have always liked Jhonen Vasquez's works/drawings, particularly Johnny the Homicidal Maniac.

I know on Nicktoons they run most of them late at night. I haven't seen classic Doug in a loooong time. I miss the Macy Gray opening for As Told By Ginger. I never got to see the end of Wild Thornberrys

I could never really get into Invader Zim. It was a cute show, I guess... but what was it really about?

I really loved Doug and the Rugrats.

Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!

That show, too. ;)

I think it's on the DVRAB (can never be too sure) but it is said they won't air that episode anymore. Which surprises me because Nickelodeon rarely airs anything that was in the 90s unless if they were Christmas specials.

Aaahhh! Real Monsters
The Angry Beavers
Doug
Kablam
Hey Arnold
Invader Zim
Ren and Stimpy
Rocko's Modern Life
Rugrats

There's the list. Might be more but I'm working on a paper at the moment. :)

Aw, I love old nicktoons!

I love each and every one that were mention in the OP!

Aaahhh! Real Monsters
The Angry Beavers
As Told by Ginger
CatDog
Doug
Kablam
Hey Arnold
Invader Zim
Oh Yeah! Cartoons
Ren and Stimpy
Rocko's Modern Life
Rugrats
The Wild Thornberrys

If they were re-running today, I would totally watch.

I think majority of the Classic Nicktoons have never been released on DVD (save for Hey Arnold, Doug, and I believe Rugrats, but those are only released via Amazon due to a deal made).

Live action show wise, I think only two of their shows had come out but only one or two seasons worth.

Just found out something interesting and I hope that it isn't true. I'm trying to find articles based on it but right now I'm just basing it on word of mouth and Wikipedia.

But anyone that remerabers the episode "Ruthless Tommy" from Rugrats (season one, same episode as the Moose Country episode) where Tommy gets kidnapped by crooks is banned from airing on TV as of June 2010 due to parents with kiRAB finding it offensive.

I mean SERIOUSLY!!

Anyway, here's the episode (keep in mind, it's upside down for some reason and I don't know how to get in to the technical stuff).
