"Classic" films you've never seen

what's the one thats called 28grams or something???? its called that coz some bloke weighed lots of people as they were dying and that's how much weight they lost when they died!! he said that was what the soul weighed!!!!!!??????! Anyway after that odd ramble, i'd really like 2c it!!!! PLEASE SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT IT'S CALLED?????????

I haven't seen many recently. I went through a phase of not really bothering with films, but suddenly got back into them. The freebie DVRAB helped!

You've definitely seen more than I have! :)

we did just join a dvd online rental scheme so that certainly helps.
my other half is over 6ft tall so he has problems sitting in cinemas so we decided on sky movies and a dvd rental scheme. I watch more than him though!! He has a lie in on a sunday morning and I watch a dvd..or The Championship on itv!! :D
Last movie I watched was Captain Corelli's Mandolin.

Hated Gone with the Wind - went on for about 14 days. The acting was terrible. Script was dire and it hasn't stood the test of time. Don't know what the fuss is about.

Haven't seen Raging Bull - it's on my every growing list of 'must get round to seeing'.

Westworld is a science-fiction film even though its set in the Wild West so I would be more likely to watch that than a standard western. There is that excellent Simpsons episode in Itchy and Scratchy land which largely borrows from that film.

Ok then!!! I must admit (and really quite shamed to do so!!!) that i must have missed EVERY 'class' film ever made!!!! I have'nt seen Gone with the wind, the shawshank whatsit!!! The godfather (of any of them for that matter!!) And soooooooooooooo many more i can't even remember the name of!!!!!!!!!! But i will watch anything, so what's wrong with me??????! what i'm trying to say is that i don't watch these supposed 'classic film's' but i will watch ................. Buffy and Angel time and time again!!!!!! i think i might be challenged!!!?????!!!! :D

It's A Wonderful Life
Casablanca
Some Like It Hot
Philadelphia
The Sound Of Music
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang... and many many many more. I'm not much of a film person tbh (I spend most of my time listening to music). I'd love to see It's A Wonderful Life, Casablanca, Philadelphia and Some Like It Hot though, as they're supposed to be really good, and I love romantic films.

Not at all Gussemmy. I love Buffy and Angel too (as well as Roswell and Alias) not to mention Lost, Smallville, Supernatural. Love movies lots & lots though. :-))

there's nothing wrong with you, if we all liked and watched the same stuff the world would be a very boring place!
My hubby takes the mick out of me for loving gone with the wind and at xmas we sat and watched the last 2 1/2 hours of it together, he was bored but he watched it. :D
