Class Debate on Execution?

For my law class we're having a class debate on execution. I got put on the side thats for execution. My teacher wants us to take some notes to bring up and argue over with the other students what kind of things should I look for? Like quotes and statistics? What else? I'm stumped. This is my first class debate
