I just discovered a band called CKY. This band was formed by the Jackass Star, Bam Margera's brother, Jesse Margera. Its kinda an infusion of heavy metal and punk. And goddammed do they rock. If your lookin for a song to download go for 96 Quite Bitter Beings. Any Jackass fans will recognize this song from the show. I urge to listen to this friggin mad band NOW.
 
i can't believe there isn't a thread on these guys. i got Infiltrate Destroy Rebuild yesterday and it's awesome

but yeah, anyone else here like them? what are your favorite songs? mine are Flesh Into Gear, Attached at the Hip, Familiar Realm, Testing, Plastic Plan, and All Power to Slaves
 
I really like Infiltrate.Destroy.Rebuild (except Plastic Plan), I think for the type of band they are, it's very diverse, as well as being catchy. Great ear for a tune on that album. Their other stuff I didn't like though.
 
They were one of the first concerts I ever went to go see back in 2002 when Infiltrate, Destroy, & Rebuild came out. It was a decent show, they've got some good riRAB but as I grew up I think I just grew out of them, when I go back and listen to them now I get bored and the songs just don't have the same impact on me anymore. The only reason I still have Infiltrate, Destroy, & Rebuild is because I lent it to a friend and he scratched the **** out of it and I couldn't sell it when I sold most of my CD collection for grocery money last year.

Over-Rated: Yes
Funny: Yes

Personally, I don't like them all that much. It's just not something pleasing to my ear, if you will. But I have heard them, and I do think they're talented, but highly over-rated.
 
The first CKY song I heard was one Tony Hawks playstation 2 I just can't remeraber the ****in song...damn you!!Oh yeah and doesanyone else think that Bam Margera's kinda sexy?? :yeah:
 
My favorite song by them is Familiar Realm. I don't care too much for their early albums but their later stuff was a little more enjoyable that's for sure.
