civilization V system requirements?

The specs for my computer are
processor: AMD Athalon(tm) Processor LE-1620, ~2.4g.hz
Memory:1918 MB RAM
DirectXversion: Direct X11
Video card: Nvidia GeForce 6100 nForce 430 (microsoft

I can run Civ 5 on my PC but it is EXTREMLY choppy and very slow. The graphics are pretty low as well. I want to upgrade my PC so it will run better, what specs should I change and why (btw i'm not a computer whiz so explain EVERYTHING for procedure)
 
Go to this website. If a window pops up, allow whatever it's asking. It's safe. I've used it dozens of times. This will tell you what you're lacking for any particular game. Just select Civ 5 from the drop down list. :)
