Don't get me wrong, I read the book, but I am having a hard time finding resources for a project concerning Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. The assignment is: "How does Twain represent his view of civilization throughout the course of the novel? You will need to focus on the fact that Huck acts more human/moral while on the river than when he is in civilization." When looking on the internet, I found little apart from spark-notes and free student essays. I am looking for something a little more academic. Does anybody have any suggestions of where to look?
