I buildt about 10-15 cities on a neighbouring island they are about 2 mostly with some 1s and 4 citizens. The production is really slow taking about 34 turns to build a rifleman and more. Im planing on invading Rome ( same island) whats the best thing i can do to get a force over there with the minimal cost and number of turns. Have in mind that i use Caravels as transports because thats the best available for atleast a nother 100 turns.
