Civilization 4 demo trouble.... : ( ?

I just downloaded the civilization 4 demo. It took forever... Ugh

Now that I have it downloaded I am not sure how to use it.

As anyone else tried the Civilization 4 demo? If so could you tell me how it worked? I need directions. Thanks, John
