hello i live in north carolina, and i did a repair job on a persons vehicle, and he ended up suing me...here is the details..
i had a civic claims for 1500, he turned it into a district court matter, then he took it to superior court and i could make it and they awarded him 32,000 dollars, and i only charged him 3k to fix his car....he spent alot of money blowing it up and going elsewhere....
i just bought a new car and owe 8k on it, and i live with parents and own nothing else....except some personal things in storage..
can they take the car or the items in storage?
