Cingular stops offereing the Nokia e62...

I was in the Cingular store in my mall the other day looking for the Nokia e62 to compare it to my recent acquirement of my Nokia e50 to see if it was faster, etc. But come to find out that they do not have it anymore. I asked the rep why and he said that there was just no demand for it. What is it with the US and people loving BlackBerries better? I hate BB's (but of course that is my opinion).

I though that the e62 was a pretty cool phone myself, im thinking about picking one up from the Cingular site since you can get a refurbished one for $50.

What were your guy's impression of the e62?
 
I have had a Nokia E61 since it was released last May. It was my first symbian phone with a full keyboad on it and it made the experience so much better. Also the battery is great as well as the reception. I had an E61 so I also had wifi in it, which made it better. I would higly recommend it but you may want to get the E61 over the E62. I thnk it was stupid that the E62 did not include wifi.
 
AHAHAHAHAH i totally agree with you! i am semi new to my e50 ( i got it this month, well March) and i noticed this, it happens all the time when i loose service for a long period of time, then when i get service again it never checks and i have to go back in and turn on auto retrieve, it is so annoying!

I completely agree with you on that Symbian flaw! But from the time i have had to deal with BB's at where i work (i for some reason am responsible for keeping their 5 BB's up and running) i hate them! I hate them with a passion, one of the guys i have to deal with does not have multi tap enabled so when i have to go and enter a URL or such it takes me literally 45 minutes to put it in.

But that is enough of my BB rant, from what i hear they are good phones, i would personally never purchase one, and hate having to deal with them. BUT like i said that is my personal opinion, i do not want to bash anyone with them or offend anyone.
