Cingular branded 6682 power issue

I have had my 6682 for about 6-7 months now. I have noticed that sometimes my phone just turns off. It shows my battery as completely dead where as a few hours ago i was showing full battery bar.

I swapped my battery to see if that helps, so far so good. I also did a reset of my phone using the 7780 code and reinstalled all my stuff (backed up using PC suite).

Has anyone else noticed this with their 6682? Im still within warranty and wondering if im better off just RMAing the phone.
 
Call Cingular XBM (a.k.a. warranty).

(800) 801-1101. They'll ship you out a new/refurbished one, and if they are out of stock, may even send a Nokia E62.
 
Well i sent out my 6682 today for repair. I got to talking to the tech that helped me and he said they will test the phone and if it doesnt do the same for them, then they return the phone. Now this doesnt happen all the time, what happens if they test it and they dont find anything wrong? Probaly going to have to send it back again...

I was kinda hoping they didnt have the phone anymore and give me something new...guess not =(
 
Sometimes if I pause Tetris and leave it running in the background and leave it that way all night, my phone will be completely dead by morning. I was freaking out for a while til I figured out that it always happened when i'd been playing tetris before I went to sleep. Haven't had it happen since.....
 
hmm , im pretty sure i have nothing running in the background...i use Appman and it shows everything thats running. I just show Appman and Telephone.

I never leave anything open but contacts, i thought that it was that a while ago, so i wanted to rule out that possibility.
