hello everyone, i am in need of some advise. summer is coming near and i need to get off my family's verizon family plan. im going on the road with my band all this year so im going to be travling alot. im going to need a phone/plan that can do alot of data/messeges back and forth since im going to be using it to check email, myspace, text/messege and browsing alot more then calling. the helio seems pretty cool, free texting/messeging/internet pretty decent rates, cool device, has GPS and google maps. my only concern is it not being an actual smartphone. and that realy limiting what i could do with it.... now on the other hand, the cingular and tmobile smartphones seem real cool, hackable...apparently i just found out i can download programs from torrents(yes i download stuff) for my phone, such as GPS locating programs and more. also not being stuck with helios IM client and web browser seems like a good thing. also another thing, the helio isnt a world phone. i plan on being in europe for a few months this year. and not having a phone would suck. what should i do? bottom line is i probably dont want to spend too much a month on my bill, i only need about 500 minutes of daytime minutes, but free everything else....ideally.
