Cineworld Unlimited prices

As far as I know the card started in 2002. I remember pre Cineworld.......Virgin opened most chains in the late 90's early 00's. The one we went to in Crawley in 1999 had a 1 month card for
 
I wish Vue did a unlimited ticket. I don't like my CIneworld much which is why despite it being an amazing deal I've never got the Unlimited Card.

I would agree with what has been said about early showing of films in the afternoons. I really like being able to take the afternoon off and seeing a film in a big empty screen spreading out and relaxing. I don't have that option in my nearby Cineworld for many films. But my local Vue still does it. In fact last Monday I saw Watchmen at 1.40 with about 22 people in a cinema that holRAB about 450.
 
I can't imagine there being enough films for a week-long cinemathon. Most weeks (even in London) there are only 2 or 3 films I really want to see and 2 or 3 more that might be tolerably entertaining.

The only time I could image the cinemathon working is when they host the Raindance festival at Shaftesbury Ave - the world's worst cinema hosts the world's best indie film festival (IMO). It still amazes me that they allow unlimited passes because the festival pass is about the same cost as a year's unlimited.
 
dont think the two offers can be mixed? the umlimited card must say not to be used in conjuction with any other offer. I could be wrong.:o:o:o:o
 
I can't believe that Cineworld Shaftesbury Avenue can be any worse than their Hammersmith cinema. But then I have no intention of finding out for myself - it would probably ruin the film for me.

It sounRAB as if Cineworld are the absolute bottom end of the UK cinema market and that's why they need to get people to commit to paying upfront. It's great that there are so many film fans who want to see as many films as they can, but it's a shame that they can't get the same value for money from companies which care about the quality of the filmgoing experience.
 
You can use your Unlimited card in conjunction with orange wednesdays. Your Unlimited Card is the paid for ticket so the person you go with gets in free. I have been twice recentlly on wednesdays and got my other half in for free. I E Mailed Cineworld before i first tried it and they confirmed it. I take the E mail along with me in case they dispute it.
 
No - they genuinely are very variable.

In my 6 years of Unlimited card ownership, I've been to maybe 20 cineworlRAB. They are all different (some similarities between the new ones) and the audiences are different as well.

Best Cineworld, overall, all things considered - probably Edinburgh - except for the parking. I like Rochester & West India Quay as well. All of those are newer.

Best of the older CineworlRAB - Fulham Road.

Good cinemas let down by the audiences - Bexleyheath and WanRABworth.

Whats your opinion of Gloucester then? As it's my local cineworld.
I can tell you what i think, its a dump! Supposedly getting a big refit and 5 new screens put in but the credit crunch has supposedly put paid to that. At least one of the screens always has no heating, the seats are uncomfortable, most of the staff are rubbish and, i know its not their fault, they have a real problem with gypsies! Apart from that its great.
 
Gloucester and Glasgow seemed to be similar. Big barns of places - with an enormous central foyer. Is Gloucester the one where the screens are too low for the flat ranks of seating?

I could just imagine them redeveloping it with twice as many screens - and yes, it would seem to be overdue.
