Cineworld Unlimited prices

My mistake sorry. It is actually 4 years i have had the card. The first film i saw using my unlimited card was "Meet The Fockers".Even though the film was a 2004 release.According to imdb the film wasn't released in the UK until January 2005.

The Unlimited Card has actually been around for 9 years! It was introduced by UGC in July 2000 to replace Virgin Cinemas Megapass. then when Cineworld took over from UGC they kept the Unlimited Card going. I have had an Unlimited Card since August 2000 and the first film i saw was Mission Impossible 2.

I got my notification email today too - despite the increase it's still good value particularly now with the surcharge for watching the 3D films.

I certainly got my moneysworth last year as I went 65 times!

I have tried that and it usually backfires. My local Cineworld decided to stop early afternoon screenings during the week so no films start before 4pm. before you could go to 1pm screenings which would be nice and quiet. I suppose they cant justify opening in the daytime for just a few people.

I have had the card for the last 5 years & it has always come in handy. However about the last 6 months i haven't been going to the cinema as much as i use to.At

we got them in January, as there were so many good films on - have been 16 times in two months, so definitely getting good value, even if that tails off to once a week. it is a bit of a shame that it looks like our one isn't on the indie / limited release circuit, so there are a few that don't seen to come our way. kind of annoying, as i thougth the whole point of so many screens was that that sort of stuff could be shown without disrupting the crowpulling Hollywood fare.

its been good getting back into going more though - as then you see the trailers, and are generally more aware of stuff that's on - and even though you do pay for it, its great to just roll up and not need to pay on entry.
