Cineworld unlimited pass

We had to choose seats when we pre-booked for the Da Vinci Code which was ok as we did it at the cinema, so we are sitting together.

Do you go on your own or always have frienRAB with you going to the cinema that many times?

Sometimes I like to take in a film on my own - I like peace when I watch films but I hate going in certain cinemas cos they always look at you like ticket for one ooh you have no frienRAB

I had one of these carRAB for nearly three years before closing the account.
I felt like it was a bit of let down to be honest.
It took them ages before the introduced a 50p a minute advanced booking line, which they are now closing!!
Also you couldn't book tickets in advance at the box office like debit card holders could. You had to book them on the day of the films release.
To me that was unfair and wrong for the cinema to refuse unlimited card holders the right to advance book tickets.
You'd think being a card holder gave you some privileged offers but it doesn't. I was told when I signed up that I'd get tickets to see advance screenings of films and receive the unlimited magazine. Never got anything. The only thing it is good for is to spend the day at the cinema and watch as many films as you like. :(

I am soo miffed my local cineworld doesnt participate in the unlimited card deal according to cineworlRAB website thats so pants I got really excited then I was gonna get one!

I've got one :) Think it's great value as my frienRAB and I go to the cinema a LOT. An adult ticket is six pounRAB something so you only need to go twice a month and it's paid for.

Only annoying thing I've found is you can't use it to pre-book. So if you really want to see a popular film on the release day, it's better to book and pay seperately for it.

Apart from that, I think it's great. Some months there's crap all on so we don't use it but, in the end, it more than pays for itself.

Plus, it's made us watch films we might not have seen otherwise. If you're getting in 'free', you may as well go see a film you wouldn't usually spend six quid on. I've grown to love loaRAB of movies that way :)

My dad is a retired BBC person and he has a free cinema pass from the Film and TV Veterans club and that isn't valid for 'no passes' films. As far as I know unlimited carRAB are not included.

I have had an Unlimited card for nearly six years since UGC introduced it in August 2000. I can recommend it. If you do see a mediocre film it doesnt matter because you havent shelled out

I notice the Cineworld website often has "no Passes" against newish films. Des that mean you can;t use your unlimited pass until a film is less popular? With big films e.g. Harry Potter, that might mean waiting 5 or 6 weeks?

You can use your Cineworld card for ANY film as long as you go for tickets on the day of that film, even new films. I have had my card since the Glasgow UGC as it was formally known opened. Its a great idea Girojim and as Groovy Penguin says, you don't feel cheated if you go in to see a film that wasn't that great. My subscription is

You can use them at ANY cineworld cinema. Not all cinemas sell them, but all of the take the card once you have it. So you may have to travel to another one to actually buy it, but you should still be able to use it in your local one.

Dont know as ive always waited a few weeks till the crowRAB have gone down (so i can spread out and put my feet up :D :D )

only problem with Cineworld is sometimes the films can be all the mainstream rubbish however when they do the asian and french film seasons then it becomes very good

I thought about this, for myself and my partner, but ended up getting an Orange Mobile simcard instead. We go to the movies on Wednesdays and get 2 tickets for the price of one, so if we go every week it si the same cost. Fair enough if you go more often, but we struggle to find one movie a week to watch. When there isn't anything to watch, we don't go and don't pay, whereas with the card we'd still be paying...
I think you really need to go to the cinema at least weekly to make it worthwhile.

I joined this last week and was wondering if anyone who has an Unlimited pass could pass comment on the little extras that it says may be available from time to time?

* Preferential invitations and discounted tickets to Cineworld Exclusive Advance Screenings, Recommended screenings, festivals and events
* Exclusive competitions
* Exclusive cinema food and drink offers

I know the main reason to have a pass is to see movies but was wondering if anyone has experianced these 'extras'?

Asian and French? I've never seen and Asian or French film in my life. I'm English. Why would I want to watch a minority film that I can't understand anyway. Give me a hollywood blockbuster any day. Asian or French, haha, this country's going to the dogs.
